A sacred place that is revered by the Balinese people “Pura Ulun Danu Bratan or Bratan Temple”. The history of this temple is that it was built to worship the Goddess of Water (Dewi Danu) since the 17th century. The distinctive beauty of this temple is the 11-storey Pura or pagoda designed in the Shiva style and is surrounded by river and mountains, giving visitors’ 360 degree calmness. Another good point of the Bratan Temple is that tourists cannot step in the pagoda in the middle of the water. That makes the scenery around the pagoda in a state of being fully ready to admire and photograph all the time.
